چکیده

4:505, 1960). Each rabbit was prebled to assure that its serum was noninhibitory for the growth of PPLO. Two control rabbits were included in this study. One was inoculated with the sediment from 1 liter of the same broth medium which had been incubated but not inoculated with PPLO. The other rabbit served as an uninoculated control. The growth-inhibition test (Fabricant, Avian Diseases 4:505, 1960) using the solid medium described by Chalquest (Avian Diseases 6:36, 1962) was conducted with these organisms and their homologous antisera. Specific antisera were produced by this procedure for each of the three isolates and would completely inhibit the growth of the homologous culture when 5% of the antiserum was incorporated into the solid medium. None of the control rabbit sera inhibited the growth of any of these isolates. Additional testing is needed to determine whether or not there is any serological relationship between these various isolates.

P-115: Melatonin Increases Developmental Rate of In Vitro Mouse Somatic Cell Nuclear

Background: The beneficial effect of supplementing culture medium with melatonin has been reported during in vitro embryo development of species such as mouse, bovine and porcine. However, the effect of melatonin on the mouse somatic cell nuclear transfer remained unknown. Materials and Methods: In this study, we assessed the effects of various concentrations of melatonin (10-6 to 10-12 M) on t...

Evaluation of humoral and cellular immunity of recombinant autolysin protein Staphylococcus aureus in mouse model

Background: Staphylococcal aureus is a gram positive cocci and opportunistic pathogen. Due to the spread of this bacterium to antibiotics resistance, one of the most important ways of prevention is the use of vaccines. In this respect, autolysin protein as one of the adhesion molecule of bacteria plays an important role for binding bacteria to the host cells and cell division. Herein, the role ...

Interfering Effects of In Vitro Fertilization and Vitrification on Expression of Gtl2 and Dlk1 in Mouse Blastocysts

Background: Embryo vitrification is a key instrument in assisted reproductive technologies (ARTs). However, thereis increasing concern that vitrification adversely affects embryo development. This study intends to assess the effectof vitrification on developmental competence, in addition to expressions of long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) gene traplocus 2 (Gtl2) and its reciprocal ...

Murine Salmonellosis Studied by Confocal Microscopy: Salmonella typhimurium Resides Intracellularly Inside Macrophages and Exerts a Cytotoxic Effect on Phagocytes In Vivo

Salmonella typhimurium is considered a facultative intracellular pathogen, but its intracellular location in vivo has not been demonstrated conclusively. Here we describe the development of a new method to study the course of the histopathological processes associated with murine salmonellosis using confocal laser scanning microscopy of immunostained sections of mouse liver. Confocal microscopy...
